Both Windermere and Bowness (Lake Windermere) are within easy walking distance. There are many excellent restaurants in the neighbourhood.
There is a quality supermarket by Windermere railway station which will provide all your catering needs.
Our cottages are ideally located for that perfect Lake District holiday!
Cottage guests have the use of garden furniture on the lawn in front of the cottages.
A foldaway bed and/or travel cot are available at a small additional charge.

We would like to welcome you to Beaumont and our one-bedroomed cottages, named ‘Elterwater’ and ‘Wastwater’, set in the one acre garden surrounding our elegant Victorian home.
Both cottages have new kitchens (including fridge/freezer and washer/drier) and have been redecorated to a high standard during the Winter of 2004. Colour TV , radio and video are installed. There is full central heating throughout. Linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.
